Das Hackamore wird statt Gebisses einfach in die bestehende Trense / das bestehende Kopfstück eingeschnallt.
Für die Verschnallung benötigen Sie einen Nasenriemen und einen Kinnriemen.
Beides finden Sie weiter unten unter Zubehör. Das Zubehör ist nicht im Lieferumfang enthalten und kann frei zusammengestellt werden.
Achten Sie darauf, dass der Nasenriemen etwa 2-3 Fingerbreit unterhalb des Jochbeins des Pferdes sitzt.
Je nachdem, wie der Zügel eingehängt wird, kann das Barefoot Hackamore mit- oder ohne Hebelwirkung genutzt werden.
Bitte beachten Sie, dass die Hebelwirkung die Reiterhilfen um ein vielfaches Verstärkt und der Nasenrücken des Pferdes eine empfindliche Stelle ist.
Hackamores mit Anzügen sollten daher wie Kandaren oder Pelhams nur von erfahrenen Reitern genutzt werden.

Auch Maßanfertigungen sind kein Problem.
Ein Flecht-Nasenriemen kostet 14,90 EUR und kann wahlweise flach- oder rundgeflochten hergestellt werden. Der Nasenriemen wird direkt in das Hackamore eingeflochten.
